"60 is the New 40" is more than a marketing slogan. The phrase is also a metaphor for optimism, as well as a metaphor for good health. How can 60 really be the new 40? First, there are the demogra ...View Article
After a 10 year career as an associate doctor with the Kaufman Chiropractic Clinic, I have branched out on my own and opened Bothell Chiropractic & Wellness in 2008 to help women and their families receive quality Chiropractic care from one of the few female Chiropractors in the area.
I treat all patients, Men, Women, Pregnant Women, Children, Babies, Seniors and Athletes. But as a woman, I have a special interest in working with women and their unique health needs.
Women are subject to many uniquely female health problems. Among these are PMS, painful periods, menopause, tension headaches and migraines.
Chiropractic is not a "cure" for gynecological troubles and yet has been a blessing to countless women with such problems. Chiropractors do not treat disease but correct spinal nerve stress (which is also known as vertebral subluxations) - a dangerous condition that interferes with the nervous system and therefore can lead to disease.
I look forward to hearing from you and answering any questions you may have regarding how chiropractic can help you live better. You don't have to "LIVE WITH IT".
My undergraduate studies were started at Bellevue Community College and completed at Palmer College of Chiropractic (The Fountainhead of Chiropractic) where I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree and my Doctorate in Chiropractic. I successfully completed National Chiropractic Boards, Parts I, II, III, IV, Physiotherapy and Washington State Chiropractic Boards. I have over 200 hours of post-graduate chiropractic neurology education. I am also Motion Palpation certified which includes over 250 hours of continuing education.
Prior to attending chiropractic school, I was a real estate agent for John L. Scott for 4 years in the Laurelhurst area of Seattle. I have been an aerobics instructor since 1985 (nationally certified through A.C.E.) and a personal trainer in local Nautilus clubs in the Northend. I have always been physically active and understand the importance of exercise and promote it daily in my practice.
I have two beautiful Golden Retrievers, Sedona, the 9 year old and Lola, the 3 year old. These "patient advocates" can be found in the clinic on most days. They are great with kids, well groomed and a terrific asset to our team. If you're allergic to dogs or would prefer they not be around when you are receiving your treatment, just let us know and we'll respect your request and make sure you are comfortable.
I love to travel... ALOT, I guess you can do that when you don't have human children. I am a member of Tradewinds Cruise Club (a catamaran sailing club). Some of my favorite places include, Greece, Belize, The BVI's (in the picture, this is called, "The Bath's"), The Grenedines and Barbados. Can you tell I love the sun and sand?
I hope this helps you get to know me a little better. I'm looking forward to getting to know you too.
To Your Health!!
